Adelaide, October 26: Legendary cricketer Greg Chappell has revealed that he is facing a financial crisis and his friends have started an online campaign to raise money to help him. This 75-year-old former captain of Australia was also the head coach of India from 2005 to 2007 and his tenure was controversial.

Chappell admitted that he is not in trouble but is also not living a luxurious life considering his cricketing career. Chappell said, “I’m not in too bad a situation. I certainly don’t want to make it seem like we’re in dire straits because we’re not, but we’re not living a luxury life either. I think most people think We all are living a life of luxury because we played cricket. Certainly, we are not poor but we are not getting the same benefits as today’s players.”
