GTA 6 map leak 2023 by Rockstar Employee’s Son

A leaked video has emerged claiming to showcase footage from Grand Theft Auto 6, just one day before its official unveiling. The video, uploaded by the TikTok account ‘azzarossi’ and shared on Twitter by GTABase.com, provides a brief panoramic view of the alleged setting for GTA 6, which is rumored to be a fictionalized version of Miami, also known as Vice City. Included in the video is a billboard featuring the Pißwasser beer brand, a familiar element in previous GTA games. However, the authenticity of the footage cannot be verified as the account has been made private. Notably, the landmarks featured in the video align with a substantial data leak from last year, which revealed more than 90 clips of the game in development.

The TikTok user in question also shared a photo of himself with Aaron Garbut, who is in charge of development and co-studio operations at Rockstar North. This has led to speculation that the person responsible for the leaks could be the son of an employee at Rockstar Games. While there is currently no evidence of the publisher removing videos due to copyright infringement, it is quite surprising to see the “my dad works at Rockstar/Xbox/PlayStation” meme proving true. If the rumors are accurate, the leaker has likely caused significant trouble for their father at the studio, all for the sake of online popularity, despite promptly making their account private. The previous incident involving leaked information led to the arrest of an unidentified 17-year-old, who was allegedly involved in hacking and associated with the group responsible for the Uber leaks. Rockstar, the publisher, has not issued any official statement regarding these leaks. In light of this situation, Rockstar should consider implementing measures to block certain keywords on social media platforms to prevent spoilers.
