Reliance General Insurance releases a global health policy, covering facilities available in any corner of the world

Reliance General Insurance Company Limited (RGICL) has launched a new policy to make global healthcare accessible to Indians. The policy, named ‘Reliance Health Global’, offers comprehensive cover not only within the borders of India but across the world, RGICL said in a statement. The policy will also cover overseas treatment expenses including serious illnesses like cancer and bypass surgery, the statement said.

The company said the policy also covers travel, accommodation, and visa and support services, along with a sum insured of up to US$1 million. There is no limit on room rent. Also, all benefits from air ambulance to organ donor expenses are included.

Rakesh Jain, CEO of Reliance General Insurance, said that as India is globalizing and many Indians are traveling abroad, it is important to remove the hassle of purchasing separate policies for India and abroad. Reliance General Insurance is a subsidiary of Reliance Capital. Also, read this.
