Nifty will increase by 10% next year, there will be sharp growth in big companies: HDFC Securities

Mumbai: The Indian stock market will grow by 10 percent in 2024. HDFC Securities made this estimate on Tuesday. Deepak Jasani, head of retail research at a domestic brokerage company, said the Niftyis expected to rise 8-10 percent from the current level at the end of 2024. The NSE 50-share index closed at 21,453 points on Tuesday, showing a 17 percent rise in the last year.

HDFC Securities Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dheeraj Relly said the general election results will have a limited impact on the market. He said that after the impressive victory of the BJP in the assembly elections, investors have started pricing, anticipating the continuation of BJP at the Center also.
