This was considered to be the biggest match of the tournament between the two dominant teams before the tournament. Surprisingly, here we are as India prepares to take on England, in a match that could potentially end the defending champions’ last ray of hope.
England themselves have said several times that head coach Matthew Mott, captain Jos Buttler, and assistant coach Marcus Trescothick are repeating each other’s ideas, leaving them with little hope. Having already accepted defeat, the luster of the struggle has now faded.
