Gold Silver Price Today: Gold fell by Rs 50, silver rose by Rs 600

Amidst the bearish trend in foreign markets, gold fell by Rs 50 to Rs 63,050 per 10 grams in the Delhi bullion market on Thursday. In the last trading session, gold had closed at Rs 63,100 per 10 grams.
However, silver rose by Rs 600 to Rs 79,100 per kg during this period. In futures trading on MCX, the February contract of Gold silver Price was seen trading at Rs 62,440 per 10 grams with a rise of Rs 25. However, the price of the March contract of silver fell by Rs 126 to Rs 75,360 per kg.
In global markets, gold fell to $ 2,037 an ounce, while silver rose to $ 24.25 an ounce. Saumil Gandhi, senior commodity analyst at HDFC Securities, said on the fall in gold prices that the dollar index has recovered some of its losses after the US macroeconomic data was better than expected.
